A Unique Encounter
With enthusiasm, love, and joy, we invite you to the 2nd European Aquatic Biodanza Encounter, which will take place in Canena, in the province of Jaén.
We will have exclusive use of the Hotel San Andrés, whose swimming pool, measuring more than 200 m², with an average water temperature of 35°C and a depth ranging from 1.10 m to 1.45 m, will be specially prepared for our encounter.
Over three days, we will share an enriching environment surrounded by thermal waters known since Roman times. The waters of the San Andrés spring are renowned both for their quality and for their therapeutic properties.
We will experience sessions in water and on land, in a unique setting, accompanied by highly experienced Aquatic Biodanza facilitators with a deep commitment to this extension.
In addition, facilitators who wish to undertake training in the Aquatic Biodanza extension may do so by extending their stay for one additional day, dedicated exclusively to training.

Experience & Dedication
A little history: In 2010, together with Viviana Canalis, we organised the first Aquatic Biodanza extension training, where the pioneers in Spain were trained. This is the seventh training programme held in Spain, enriched by the experience gained from each of the previous editions. Rolando Toro Acuña was invited to collaborate in the first edition, Maite Bernardelle in the second, Fernanda Morixe in the third, and Córdula Bruch, Sandra Salmaso, Catarina Almeida and Pilar de la Cueva in the sixth. Thanks to this journey and the experience accumulated along the way, at the VIDA School of Biodanza in Granada we have become specialists in this extension.
At the VIDA School of Biodanza in Granada, we prepare this encounter as a shared project that reflects our commitment to the values and principles that arise from the very essence of Biodanza. We take care of every detail to create a microclimate that inspires, nurtures and encourages profound experiences of human encounter, affective expansion and connection with the joy of living.

Aquatic Biodanza According to Rolando Toro
Aquatic Biodanza is one of the most important extensions of Biodanza because it acts directly on the cellular psyche. It is a true experience of rebirth that helps dissolve emotional armour and reduces the factors that produce stress. The experience is not limited to sensitivity and emotion, but also embraces affective feeling and profound tenderness, fostering a high level of human evolution.
“The feeling of revitalisation and harmony that arises predisposes people to new ways of acting and relating to themselves and to others.”
— Rolando Toro
The Encounter will take place at the Hotel Balneario San Andrés in Canena, Jaén.
A three-star hotel where you can enjoy every comfort in an atmosphere of great tranquillity, while remaining perfectly connected to the main cities in the surrounding area. The mission of Balneario San Andrés is to offer health and well-being to its visitors. Built around a spring of Roman origin, the spa offers high-quality thermal waters used in a wide variety of therapeutic treatments. These waters are characterised by their hardness, almost neutral pH and balanced mineralisation, and are recommended for different conditions to help maintain a balanced state of physical and mental well-being.
